Gastroesophageal Reflux: When to worry and what to do

Gastroesophageal Reflux (GER) is a very common and normal occurrence in infancy. However, a portion of the infants with GER actually have Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). This course provides the practitioner with a deep understanding of the difference between GER and GERD while offering extensive evidence-based information regarding signs and symptoms of GERD. Practical strategies are offered for working with infants and their families when GERD is present, along with cautions for using certain interventions.
